Fall foliage at Harper's Ferry

Bottom two shots were taken by my husband using the telephoto lens.

Adding texture, edge burn, and a frame

On this photo, I added a brown paper texture on overlay setting with an opacity of 70. I also did an edge burn and added a simple black frame. I'm reposting the original to compare and contrast. I learned how to do these fun effects from a photo editing class on Jessica Sprague.

Newburyport and Plum Island

I'm especially proud of the tree shot. I also really like the tree shadow on the side of the lighthouse.

First aperture shot

My uncle, a long time photo enthusiast, taught me how to use aperture setting for my photos---one of my favorite settings! Here's a shot of the orchards at Cider Hill Farms.

My first photo shoot with my new DSLR camera. All shots taken on automatic but I'm pretty pleased with the composition.
